This week's free stem cell treatment for the brain goes to Caitlin Upton, 18...aka Ms. South Carolina teen. You may have seen her on national television when she was asked the question-- Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is? "I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, um, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as, uh, South Africa and, uh, the Iraq and everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future."
Caitlin- this week you win Theravitae's free stem cell treatment. We will provide stem cells for your brain - no charge. Other candidates this week included Michael Vick (or Ron Mexico)- the dog killer. Ms. Upton, to receive your free stem cell treatment, please contact me at stemcellguy@theravitae.com
Amy Banner- "Don't make her angry, you wouldn't like her when she is angry"...or was that David Banner? Oops, Stem Cell Guy is a Incredible Hulk fan. You remember the Hulk..that Big Green Guy who looks like Shrek....well, it looks like they are going to make another Hulk movie starring Edward Norton. Hopefully, it will be better then the last one where I can still remember the "Shrek Hulk" bounding up and down in the air and landing on different continents at the end of the movie. That was pretty amazi...well no, it looked silly.
Sorry, Stem Cell Guy got off track a little bit there. Lets go back to Amy Banner. Amy is a youngster at age 31 and was suffering from Cardiomyopathy. She came to Bangkok to receive her adult stem cells. And just a little over one month after her stem cell therapy, she seems to be doing much better- Prior to stem cell therapy Amy was experiencing some 35,000 uncomfortable PVCs a month. In the last month she recorded only 2200. “No wonder I am feeling so good!” she said. “This alone made it all worthwhile and now I don’t even notice them they are so mild, or maybe they are happening in my sleep.”
It's mailbag time. Every Friday, Stem Cell Guy opens his mailbag so all his loyal readers can see what is happening in regards to stem cell therapy
Theravitae which as you know offers their Vescell adult stem cells for cardiomyopathy treatment helped yet another patient. We received this email from Tino Rossi a recent heart disease patient.

Stem Cell Guy would like to say on behalf of Theravitae-- "Thank you for your kind letter, news of your improvement is what we live and work for."
Aloha Stem Cell fans. Welcome to Stem Cell Guy's little blog island. Stem Cell Guy is going surfin' bra. Dude, look at those killer waves.
Sorry, Stem Cell Guy will stop acting like an idiot and give you some good stuff:
This week Stem Cell Guy would like to present Dr. George Smith from Hawaii. Dr. Smith was suffering from coronary artery disease as well as congestive heart failure. Some doctors may call it ischemic cardiomyopathy.
Note to prospective patients...although Dr. Smith may have wanted/needed two different stem cell treatments, most of our patients are very satisfied with one or only need one. Two is not the norm.
Anyway, here is the teaser: Doctor George Smith, MD, from Hawaii, derived such benefit from his first adult stem cell treatment in Bangkok eighteen months ago that he returned recently for another procedure. The first trip gave Dr. Smith, age 80, a stronger heart muscle. The second he believes will help increase blood flow throughout his body. Dr. Smith is believed to be one of the first patients in the world to receive two different treatments of adult stem cells. "I don't think there are too many people going to the other side of the world to get stem cell treatment once, much less twice." he said with a grin. OH PLEASE STEM CELL GUY!! GIVE US MORE!
Stem Cell Guy would like to welcome Al Caudullo to the Theravitae family. Who is Al? Al is the video genius who will now be interviewing and filming our patients. Stem Cell Guy is proud to post this first video Al has created for our stem cell company.
Al interviewed Cardiomyopathy patient Gil Hayes along with his lovely wife Pat. Gil was treated with his own adult stem cells in early August. Obviously it is too soon to see how the stem cell treatment worked out for him, but the video gives some of his (and Pat's) views on what brought him to Thailand. Also, Pat weighs in on the hospital care they received while in Bangkok.
OH STEM CELL GUY! STOP TALKING! LET ME SEE THE VIDEO!!
Stem Cell Guy has been working hard trying to find Part II of the Buck Brumble stem cell treatment saga (scroll down)and he has finally succeeded. As my dad used to tell me "If at first you don't succeed...just quit." Ok, he didn't really say that and I didn't quit on you- my dear fans. Consequently, we got the conclusion to Part I (scroll down for Part I please). OH STEM CELL GUY!! I WANT TO READ PART II
Memo to Green Valley News-- Yesterday, I promised my loyal readers of my blog that I would post Part II of your story -- "GV resident bets on stem-cell therapy for failing heart/" And now I can't find it online. We were all waiting for the scoop on how adult stem cell recipient Buck Brumble was doing now (4 months after coming to Bangkok for his stem cell treatment.
Where is it????? Are you too busy planning for the Mini Baja 100 thing again? I would appreciate it very much if you stopped your planning for the Baja Mini 100 thing, and posted Part II online. We are all waiting.-- Stem Cell Guy :)
Actually the title of the article is "GV resident bets on stem-cell therapy for failing heart." However, unless all of the readers of this blog know where GV is, I didn't think that was a proper title. GV actually stands for Green Valley, Arizona.
According to Wikipedia, In 2005 Green Valley was the host of the SAE mini Baja100 competition (Stem Cell Guy isn't sure what that is). ETS- Ecole de technologie Superieure, from Montreal, Canada, won the competition ("Nice Going ETS,"- Sincerely, Stem Cell Guy)
Yes, I know what you are thinking "Thank you so much Stem Cell Guy, I learn something new and interesting everytime I read this blog." All Stem Cell Guy can say, is "You are welcome, come back to this blog soon for more."
But, let's get to the good stuff....Buck Brumble, Green Valley resident came to Bangkok for his adult stem cell therapy for his heart disease. He came in March, 2007 and now his local paper has written a story about his ordeal.
Here is the teaser-- It was a gamble for retired Air Force Major Buck R. Brumble, 68, but the stakes were high—literally life or death.
He took that gamble after hearing that stem-cell therapy might revive his failing heart and allow him to return to the life he loves in Green Valley, where he lives in The Springs with his two dogs.
Stem Cell Guy has a new patient story for you today. Terence Areford is our featured patient. Terence from Morgantown, Virginia made the long journey for his adult stem cell treatment. Terence was suffering from heart failure when he came all the way to Bangkok for his stem cells.
Here is the teaser- Terry Areford from Morgantown, West Virginia is just one patient who was not told by his cardiologist that the option of adult stem cell therapy existed for him. More appalling than not being so advised, he was a patient at the prestigious teaching hospital attached to the University of West Virginia where he could reasonably have expected to receive the best and most advanced treatment options available to medical science. He believed that his imminent death was unavoidable because he did not want a transplant and after several heart attacks, six bypasses and more than half a dozen operations to insert stents he had only one small vessel left pumping blood to the front of his heart. OH STEM CELL GUY! GIVE US MORE!!
Stem Cell Guy has another success story for you today. Last week you may remember we received a couple of emails from Ann Bonarelli, who received her adult stem cells about four months ago. Well, from those emails, we sort of made a new press release out of it. It may give all of you stem cell fans a clearer picture of Ann and her wonderful story. Without further ado, Stem Cell Guy is proud to present Ann Bonarelli, heart disease patient and now adult stem cell recipient---
