After treatment with VesCell, Jeannine Lewis became a paid employee of TheraVitae. No case is typical. You should not expect to experience these results.

hi there,

i wonder if you would answer a couple of questions.

first, what are the steps one must go through to get a medical treatment approved for use in thailand?

Second, could you direct me to the published papers resulting from the scientific studies this procedure has undergone - i.e., double-blind, placebo controlled studies? i would like to read them.

Third, what type of adult stem cell is it that is injected into the heart? my guess is that they are hematopoietic cells - am i correct?

thank you for your time,
anuket

Hi Anuket,

Q. "First, what are the steps one must go through to get a medical treatment approved for use in thailand?"

A. This question should be directed to a professional Thai regulatory consultant who is qualified and who can give you a comprehensive response.

Q. "Second, could you direct me to the published papers resulting from the scientific studies this procedure has undergone - i.e., double-blind, placebo controlled studies? i would like to read them."

A. We are in the process of finalizing a clinical trial and we will publish the results after their analysis. Meanwhile the results look very encouraging.

Q. "Third, what type of adult stem cell is it that is injected into the heart? my guess is that they are hematopoietic cells - am i correct?"

A. The cells that comprise VesCell™ are called Angiogenic Cell Precursors. They are obtained from the patient’s blood. Any detailed scientific discussion on stem cells is beyond the scope of this blog.

I should point out that TheraVitae (the makers of VesCell) do NOT treat anyone. We are a cell company that provides cells using our VesCell technology to hospitals that have chosen to use them.
